Complete Ford Ranger Bolt-On LS swap engine motor mount kit specifically designed for the Ford Ranger.
Due to the fact this kit is fully welded, this allows movement at the engine block plate to make any adjustments.
This design allows for header clearance using our 304 Stainless steel long tube Headers.

MOTOR MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS :
The kit contains a frame mount that you place on the frame and the motor plates that bolt directly to the LS block. You re-use your factory LS motor mount hardware to bolt them to the block.
Motor is mounted with the correct engine offset for the stock rear-end and the 8.8 swap.
* TRANSMISSION HAS TO BE IN ATTACHED TO THE ENGINE TO GET ENGINE STAIT AND AT THE CORRECT ANGLE WHEN INSTALLING PLATES TO ENGINE BLOCK *
- Install frame mount side loosely to the frame with the shorter bolts. Snug, DO NOT TIGHTEN.
- Lower engine in place just above frame mounts.
- Install engine side plate with Riser on Drivers side between tabs and insert long bolt. DO NOT TIGHTEN AT THIS TIME. Sometimes it's easier to tap tabs with a mallet to open the tabs just a touch to ease install of mounting plate.
- Lower engine and START bolts into the engine block [ re-use your factory engine bolts ]. DO NOT TIGHTEN AT THIS TIME.
- Install Passenger side engine block plate [ The plate with no Riser ] between tabs on Passenger side and insert long bolt. DO NOT TIGHTEN AT THIS TIME.
- Lower engine down into plate and install Passenger side plate bolts to the block.
- It is easier to use a small pry bar to help positioning and align the bolt holes when installing the block plate bolts, it helps A LOT.
- Lower engine completely down . TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS AT THIS TIME.
NOTES:
- IF YOU USE OUR TRANS ADAPTER WITH A 4L60E TRANSMISSION, IT IS A COMPLETE BOLT IN COMBO. IF YOU USE A 4L80E OR ANY OTHER TRANSMISSION, THE TRANSMISSION CROSSMEMBER WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO BE RELOCATED BACK AT 3".
- FRAME MOUNT BRACKETS HAVE ADDITIONAL HOLES FOR ADDED STRENGTH IF NEEDED. [ THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE USED, THEY DO REQUIRE YOU TO DRILL ADDITIONAL HOLES IN THE FRAME. ] YOU CAN USE THE SINGLE BOLT HOLE IN BETWEEN THE TABS FOR MOUNTING LIKE A STOCK MOUNT. EXTRA SHORT BOLTS ARE SUPPLIED IF YOU WANT TO DRILL THE FRAME FOR EXTRA STRENGTH.

HEADER MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
Using Our Long tube headers you will have to clearance the passenger side inner frame rail for proper header clearance. The Factory Airbox will have to be removed or heavily modified. Engine mounts use Factory frame holes, we place additional holes that can be drilled on the Drivers and Passenger side for additional strength.
